4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! We went to Bloomfield on Friday to my parent's house for the festivities. My brother and his family got into town on Wednesday from Seattle, so it made our visit even more special! All the cousins were together...all SIX of them! It's always a fun, spirit filled, and a little chaotic at times when everyone's together, BUT we love EVERY minute of it!!!!!!! It's to be expected when 6 kids are together from the start of the day to finish and they are all under the age of 5! I love the summer time visits at my parents house.
The kids play and the adults get to hang out and relax in the beauty of my parents back yard; laughing, sipping beers, eating lots of great food. We have a lot of great cooks in the family. A small perk I had to add! Ahhh when I'm there it makes me want to live in the country again. Then I remember the perks of living in the city and quickly decide I'll just make visits to the country! ;0
We had a blast and kept the kids busy and entertained. We had cookouts, a birthday party for Ezra, went to the Bloomfield fireworks, the Linton parade, visited Bryan Park Pool one day and then spent lots and lots of time in the backyard just running around enjoying the sun! The kids had a blast together, as well as the adults.

Ezra on the slip and slide. The kids spent many hours on this thing. Zack even made a few trips down! :)

This picture says it all about the temperatures at the 4th of July parade. It was a great time, but whew was it hot! The kids not only were hot upon leaving, but all had sugar buzzes! ;0

Ezra turned 5 in June, so we had a family bday party for him, while he was home!!

Grandma and Grandpa with their babies! L-R Eli, Isaac, Ezra, Solomon, Caspar and Clara. Soon to add little Miss Justin to the crew in September!
It's such a blessing that we had time together. I cherish every minute of it!
